Spicy Lebanese

While chugging down some much needed booze at one of my “go to” watering holes, I met up with a group of dear friends & trusted consiglieres. Among the group was… Well, although he may not give two shits whether I use his real name, I’ll just refer to him as François.

It had been a stoner-minute since I’d broke some liquid-bread with François & after catching / boozin’ it up for a bit, he offers me some legit “Lebanese Blonde Hash” he’d recently acquired. His enthusiasm, for what seemed to be the greatest discovery since hash itself, was infectious and I had no other choice but to take him up on his offer.

We soon jetted off to his place to partake in some of this highly acclaimed hashish. We sparked up the first bowl of Blonde and slowly I began to melt as thick smoke filled my lungs. That night we continued to indulge into the next day, in various & copious amounts of both uppers and downers. But, the hash stood out as the most memorable part of that nights line-up.

It was during lunch the next day (with only one feeble hour of shut-eye) that I discovered the gram of hash he broke me off tucked away in my shirt pocket… NICE!

Strain:

Lebanese Blonde Hash

It had been quite some time since I had tangled with the likes of hashish. I’d describe its texture as dense and very dry, but once you applied some heat to it – it became very soft and malleable. Smoking it on its own you get a strong spicy/woody flavor and aroma. I recommend packing a dense bowl of a flavorful sativa then sprinkle over a layer of hash.

The combination of the two provide a stellar heavy high without leaving you all groggy and befuddled afterwards like with some hash varieties.

HASH? Now I wouldn’t say I’m particularly deft in the matter, I am however familiar with some fundamentals. Hash is essentially the outer most delicious resin glands of the nuggz (know as trichomes), carefully sifted and compressed. The better the budz & the less amount of plant material will yield a higher quality hash.

I wouldn’t consider this batch of hash the highest caliber I’ve come across, but its certainly up there. Well, many thanks to “François” & Co. for thier generous hospitality, I look forward to paying it forward & sharing the love.
